Samitrayasa is a triumvirate of Jakarta-based young architects
The name “Samitrayasa” is Sanskrit from the words Mitratva (friendship) + Yasa (glory)
These names are the base of our philosophy: the glory achieved by friendship. Not only for us, but for our clients too

“Color plays an important role in giving people a sense of place and identity. It also helps to give space, energy and character. A splash of diversity is crucial to make our spaces healthy and vibrant. Therefore, I believe that spaces should be more colorful, whether it means to keep every single aspect of the space brightly hued or to mix different styles of design”.

“I believe architecture should be flexible. We as architects are responsible to design something that is able to adapt not only to its environment but also to its inhabitants. Climate is indeed a major concern to consider in a tropical country like Indonesia. With temperatures climbing to 40°C in the summer and heavy monsoon rains that causes floods. Architecture is one of many contributions to human life”.
Doddy is talented in technical architectural drawings and attentive in every single detail of execution.
